Close the Gap

The Close the Gap Campaign advocates for health equity, equality and improved life outcomes for First Nations Peoples. Without large-scale systemic institutional reforms this cannot be achieved at a national level. To support this goal, the Close the Gap Campaign began National Close the Gap Day (NCTGD) to provide an opportunity for communities to stand in solidarity, demanding health equality for First Nations Australians.

ANTAR’s involvement in Close the Gap:

• ANTAR is a founding member of the Close the Gap Campaign and calls on governments to take real and measurable action to achieve equality across life outcomes for First Nations Australian’s by 2031.
