Truth-telling

The Uluru Statement from the Heart calls for three major reforms: Voice, Treaty and Truth. So how should we understand truth-telling in Australia, what is its history, and how might it enhance the work for First Nations justice and self-determination? Learn about the Makarrata Commission called for in the Uluru Statement, the many community-driven truth-telling processes that have been underway for years, as well as the importance not just of being told the truth, but of being able to truly listen. Truth-telling and truth-listening are our shared collective responsibilities.
