More about this product
By purchasing these diary covers you will help support an emergency relief fund that provides shelter, food, clothing, fuel and the opportunity to create immediate income for Aboriginal families and individuals.
The Waltja Diary Cover Project provides a dignified and efficient way to ease financial stress. Under the project, people in difficult financial situations receive $25 for each cover they paint. 90% of remaining proceeds from the sale of the covers goes to the Waltja emergency relief fund and 10% towards ANTaR's work. So far the fund has assisted over 800 Aboriginal people to overcome situations of difficulty while staying in Alice Springs.
As the diary covers are not a mass produced product but are hand-painted individual designs, your diary cover will be randomly selected for you. We can assure you that each diary cover, as well as being unique, is a well made, beautiful product signed by the artist, that can be used for years to come.
