Just Reinvest NSW advocates for justice reinvestment programs as a way of reducing incarceration of First Nations People.

Justice reinvestment seeks to fund strategies that address drivers into the criminal justice systems rather. Reinvestment programmes led by the community and informed by data have been found to be effective and less costly that traditional prison funding.

Just Reinvest NSW works to raise awareness of justice reinvestment, and advocate for this approach to be widely adopted in NSW. Just Reinvest NSW is an independent, not for profit, membership based organisation, auspiced by Aboriginal Legal Service (NSW/ACT) Ltd, and has a coalition of more than 20 organisations.
