The annual NRL Close the Gap round is fast approaching again and we need some volunteers to come and help get pledge signups at games. This is your chance to get along to an NRL game and put health inequality in the Sin Bin.
There are plenty of volunteer opportunities available at the games. Help us to collect pledge signatures from people attending the games and apply temporary tattoos to kids at the game and you’ll receive a ticket to watch the rest of the game! (You’re free to leave after half time if you wish)

The Indigenous Leadership Group of the Close the Gap Campaign this morning met with the Prime Minister before she tabled her annual report on progress in Closing the Gap.
They discussed critical developments for the 2013 year, these being;
* The development of the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Plan
* The need for future commitment of funds as the National Partnership Agreement on Closing the Gap in Indigenous Health Outcomes comes to a close mid 2013.
