Jacqui Phillips appeared before the Joint Select Committee on Constitutional Recognition of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples today.
The Joint Select Committee met with key stakeholders in Sydney today.
Jacqui Phillips reiterated ANTaR's strong support for Constitutional reform to recognise Australia's First Peoples and to remove racially discriminatory aspects from Australia's founding document.

Act of Recognition Bill introduced into Parliament today
ANTaR welcomes the introduction of a bill to establish an Act of Recognition and the establishment of a Parliamentary Joint Select Committee as significant advances on the road to a referendum to recognise Australia’s First Peoples.

You Me Unity is calling on organisations to raise awareness and community support for constitutional recognition of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Funding rounds are now open to encourage local activities that help to broaden the positive message of constitutional recognition.
